Must-Knows of 2022 Medicare Advantage and Premiums of Prescription Drug Plan

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released the updated premiums and benefits for Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans (Medicare Part B). Here are the changes they made: 

Average Premiums for 2022

  • Medicare Part D: $33 for each month (previously $31.4) 
  • Medicare Advantage: $19 for each month (previously $21.22)

NOTE:  These average premiums may differ according to the plan you choose.
